The best housewarming gift I ever received was a giant bag of Daffodil bulbs, all different varieties. These beautiful bugles of spring are for me, a color study of yellows. After the grey browns and silvers of winter, the bursts of sunshine yellows give my eyes a wake-up call. What I really love to do is gather my first bunch of daffodils and admire the subtle hues within the different varieties. I was inspired to create a pattern grouping that revolved around the yellows I found in my daffodils.
